Route 06 Roblox Route 06 Zombie Types
Every infected variant on the highway, how they spawn, and how your squad should respond.
Route 06 throws more than slow walkers at your convoy. OutLaik mixes Left 4 Dead-style special infected with a night-only boss hunter called Plague. Understanding each zombie type saves ammo at C4RL pit stops, prevents Boomer-friendly-fire wipes, and keeps your stamina bar intact when Plague appears after the first checkpoint. This guide catalogs every confirmed variant in alpha, how they behave in co-op, and which survivor tools hard-counter them.
Regular zombies
Regulars are the green-tinted common infected — slow foot speed, low HP, and the bulk of road spawns during daylight pushes. They exist to drain attention while you loot structures or sell valuables at C4RL.
How to fight: melee saves bullets. A Frying Pan two-shots Regulars; a Fire Axe one-shots them unless a Charger is mixed in. Assign one player to sweep stragglers while others load the trunk.
Co-op callout: “Regulars on the left” is enough — do not burn Kimberly’s Flashbang coins on trash unless a special is attached.
Sprinter zombies
Sprinters run faster than Regulars and use a lighter green palette. They close gaps during structure clears when your team splits between car and building.
How to fight: sidestep instead of backpedaling. Sprinters punish exhausted survivors — if your stamina bar is empty, Plague nights become lethal. Keep Bloxy Cola from vending machines for emergency sprints.
Vehicle note: Sprinters can catch a stationary car if the engine is off. Keep the driver ready to roll once looters exit.
Charger zombies
Chargers telegraph a forward rush and knock survivors down on impact. They are the primary reason Frontliners like William exist.
How to fight: dodge perpendicular to the charge vector or interrupt with William/Marcus charge abilities. Focus fire after the rush whiffs. Chargers survive Fire Axe one-shots — plan two hits or team focus.
Checkpoint risk: a Charger inside C4RL during the 90-second shop window can cancel sales. Clear the lane before interacting with C4RL terminals.
Boomer zombies
Boomers are larger than Regulars and explode on death (or when run over). The toxic cloud damages nearby players.
How to fight: finish at range. Melee kills work but step back immediately. Running over a Boomer with the car triggers the same explosion — warn the driver before road kills.
Traffic Stop: Boomer pops during the halfway puzzle waste healing items. Assign a ranged player to delete them before the team commits to the key hunt.
Plague — the night hunter
Plague is not a tier list zombie — it is an unkillable set-piece that appears only at night after your squad passes the first C4RL checkpoint. Plague runs faster than Regulars, ignores DPS checks, and grabs survivors who burn stamina.
Escape: mash Q + E (see Controls). Teammates can melee Plague to free grabs faster.
Stuns: William, Clayton, and Kimberly can interrupt Plague — rotate cooldowns instead of everyone sprinting.
Co-op pass: in five-stacks, bait Plague in circles and hand off aggro until dawn. Solo players need high stamina survivors — Marcus struggles with only 80 stamina.

| Post-checkpoint night | Above + Plague |
| Military outpost finale | Mixed horde waves during generator phase |
Night zombies can also appear near players randomly once the horror clock starts — do not assume daylight means safety after checkpoint one.
